The School Day
The daily schedule for the main School is as follows:

Punctuality
Punctuality should be valued and we hope you will support your child to arrive at school on time so that they are settled and ready to learn. The school day begins at 8.45am for Reception to Year 6 children. At 8.45 the main playground late is locked and children arriving after this time will need to access the late gate. Parents must register their child at the office and take their child to the kids club entrance, where they will be greeted by Mrs Hodges, our pastoral support. This will ensure that your child has time to settle and join their class as promptly as possible.
We are pleased to celebrate that our new late gate process has had significant impact in increasing punctuality and children are beginning the day more settled.
End of Day
At the end of the day, children will only be released to the adult that is expected on that day. Parents who are delayed on the way to collect children are asked to contact the school, so that the children can be reassured. Where the staff member overseeing pick up does not recognise the adult picking up, a password will be requested.
Children in Year 5 and Year 6 are permitted to walk off site with written consent from their parent/carer.
