Uniform
We believe that wearing a uniform promotes a sense of equity and belonging to our school community. We want our pupils to regard their time in school as important and wearing sensible and suitable clothes is a mark of respect.
Our uniform is one of the ways in which we show pride in our identity as a school community. We want our pupils to regard their time in school as important and believe that wearing sensible and suitable clothes is a mark of respect for themselves and their school. With parental support, we can encourage our pupils to adopt the right attitude to learning and to school.
Dressing appropriately is part of that process. Part of our responsibility is to ensure that our children are “Secondary Ready,” and this includes the wider aspects of school life as well as the taught curriculum. Secondary schools, and many workplaces take a very firm approach to compliance with uniform rules and codes, and it is important that children follow these.
Having chosen Coleshill C of E Primary School, parents are ‘signing-up’ to all of our expectations for school uniform – including acceptable hairstyles, jewellery and accessories.
Logoed uniform items are available to order online via www.brigadeuniformdirect.uk.com. Uniform is not sold through school. Non-logoed items are widely available from supermarkets and high street retailers.

Outdoor uniform
It is really important to remember that children are frequently outdoors for Forest School and Outdoor Play & Learning (OPAL) so need a coat and wellies as part of our uniform. We go outdoors in all weathers so please check that your child has these two important pieces of uniform. Dark coats are best as they will get dirty!

We have pre-loved uniform available by the Kids’ Club entrance, just ask a member of staff or the PTA.
Please find downloads below on the school uniform policy and where you can buy items from.
